Resource Description
In the 1st section, we may find an introduction to the exponential function, focusing on its algebraic expression and the corresponding graph. Then, we introduce the logarithmic function as the inverse of the exponential, pointing out for the relations between both these functions, as well as referring to key features related with the domain and range.
Afterwards, we dedicate some time to key properties of logarithms which are fundamental to manipulate algebraic expressions involving them. There is also a look at proving some of these properties, although that goes beyond the scope of the A2 Level course.
In the next section, we study the differentiation and integration of exponentials and logarithms, pointing out the main properties and showing several examples.
In the last section, we include a few exam-style questions which are fully solved, each containing all the explanations, diagrams and comments in order to allow a smooth understanding of each exercise.
