Hop and count – Making 10

This is a 3 page colour or black and white printable file.

Cut each block and laminate for multiple use.

Place in a folder with a whiteboard marker for children to complete the answers.

Children can draw in the arrows or use a 3d object to hop from number to number. This activity can also be turned into a movement activity where children can hop from tile to tile and count each time they hop to get the answers.

There are many benefits of this activity depending on the medium used to complete the activity.
