Resource Description

Learners will work with boy and girl body figures, printed on A3-sized paper to provide enough space for labeling. These figures represent common human body parts, and learners will use arrows with isiXhosa body part names (e.g., iliso for eye, umlomo for mouth) to correctly label the body parts. This approach helps learners to visually connect isiXhosa words with the corresponding body parts, reinforcing both vocabulary and comprehension.

Educational Benefit:

  • The game requires learners to think critically as they read the isiXhosa words and identify the correct body parts on the figures. It sharpens visual scanning and cognitive connections between words and images.
