Resource Description

Follow the instructions on the cover, and your learner has a “learning planner” good for two terms.  The planner has…

1.  Space for pasting two term reports,

2.  A place for writing down subject focus areas based on the report,

3.  A table for setting (attainable) written goals for each subject (end of term, and end of year), and

4.  A table for monitoring absence from school AND tracking the progress of the term.

In short, a “learning planner” is a journal (or learning management tool) aimed at helping learners take charge of their own learning – thus becoming self-motivated!  This is learning planning BY LEARNERS.
