Resource Description
I use the My Name project with my Grade 8s. It really helps me into getting to know my students by acknowledging the importance of their identities and histories. The students spend time researching their names, and then produce a poem/sculpture/drawing, etc. which they present to the class. It’s such a fun and creative way to celebrate each student in the class.
