Task: Build Your Own Musical Instrument from Reused Materials
Build a musical instrument out of recyclable materials and give a short show in which the instrument is used.
Instructions:
1. Choose an Instrument:
· Think about what type of musical instrument you want to make (eg. a drum, a guitar, a flute, etc.).
2. Collect Materials: Only use recyclable or discarded items that you can find at home. Here are some suggestions:
· Cans
· Plastic bottles
· Cardboard box
· Rubber bands
· Paper towel rolls
· Rice or beans for noisemakers
· Old newspapers or magazines
3. Design and Build:
· Plan how you’re going to make your instrument. Make a simple drawing to depict your idea.
· Build your tool according to your plan. You can ask for help from your parents or teacher if needed.
4. Decorate your instrument:
· Decorate your instrument with paint, coloring paper, old cloth, or any other material you have to make it unique and colorful.
5. Display:
· Prepare a short show in which you play your instrument. You can play a simple song or rhythm.
6.Evaluation:
