R is for Ready!

Print the first 12 pages in colour, and paste them into an A4 exercise book. You now have a unique Grade R learning planner! Use it WITH your learner, to track the progress of the term, to monitor days absent, and to paste in the four term reports. The planner guides you as you convert the subject scores (from 1-7) to 1-7 stars, a visual (and activity-based) way of making achievement understandable to a Grade R learner. Setting goals is NOT explicitly mentioned, but the foundation is created for this vital step. On the cover, there’s a an interactive birthday calendar. The planner also has space for pasting class photographs. In summary: use this planner to get your Grade R learner started with managing their own learning, just one gentle step at a time.
