WOW@AFRIKAANS IS EASY! – Afrikaans Reading Exercises For Everybody

WHAT WILL THEY LEARN?

1. WOW@Afrikaans Is Easy! are printable booklets where students can learn to read and write Afrikaans vocabulary and use it in short sentences. This book-series was created to give students the opportunity to learn, practise and gain confidence in the Afrikaans language.

2. They will always be in a position of fully understanding what they are reading because every single Afrikaans word in these booklets is translated on the page. They never have to look words up in the dictionary – that work has been done for them 😉

3. By working through these booklets with lots of pictures, students have the opportunity to copy write the words and sentences and at the end do an easy short exercise.

4. Students can keep their booklets in a file and so build their own libraries which they can read from as often as they like.

5. Every booklet has a different theme and new vocabulary is introduced accordingly.

HELP WITH PRONUNCIATION

If students are unsure about pronouncing the words and sentences correctly they can listen to and practice with the free EDUFRIENDS videos on YouTube.

Go to YouTube and in the search box type the following: ESCS EDUFRIENDS AFRIKAANS READING COURSE OUTLINE

Wow Afrikaans Phase 1

Well set out booklets, my children have found it easy to understand and they also enjoying following along with the YouTube videos before they write in their booklets.I will be purchasing the rest of the set. The only correction I have is in book no.8 the word "brood" has been left out.
