Grade 7 – Career Day
This career day assessment combines activities for Life Orientation, and English HL.
I did this activity during exam times, so each class was given an exam session in which to present. They had to come to school dressed for their careers. I marked the Poster and Dress-up for LO, and the speech for English.
For Life Orientation:
– Learners must research a career
– Use the research to design a job advert for the career
– Dress-up in the “uniform” of the career.
For English:
– Use the research & prepare a speech about the career
– Present the speech to the class.
