Resource Description

This resource has been created to consolidate mental math concepts such as addition, subtraction, halving and doubling. It consists of 32 playing cards and a checklist for the teacher. Cards are handed to each child and they need to mentally calculate the answers to the challenges. It involves the whole class in a fun, interactive game that can be used as a warm-up to a maths lesson.
