Sign language memory game: a-z matching cards

 Aimed at children and usable across all grades.

How to play:

• Group 1-4 players from ages 4+
• Objective is to match each letter of the alphabet with the correct ASL hand sign

Set up:

• Print and cut out all 52 cards(26 letters + 26 sign cards)
• Shuffle and lay them all face down in a grid

Game rules:

• Players take turns flipping over 2 cards.
• If the letter matches the correct ASL sign, they keep the pair.
• If not, the flip the back over.
• The player with the most pairs at the end wins.

Alternative game ideas:

• Speed around: Time your learners to match all pairs.
• Memory boost: Use only 10 pairs to start and add more as you improve.
• Spelling practice: Use the sing cards to spell out words.
