Data Handling Project

This is a Data Handling project-based activity for Grades 3 or 4. The project covers Tally Charts, Pictographs, Bar Graphs and  Pie Charts  with clear explanations on each. The Farm theme allows the children to measure and create enclosures for Farmer Brown’s Farm using the knowledge provided. The children should be encourage to draw up their own templates as shown in the diagrams. This project should take place over time as new concepts are learned. There is final assessment as well as a marking Rubric for the project.
