Resource Description
Insects are everywhere and it is our duty to figure out where the insects are positioned in order to identify them. Play “Where is the bee?” and “Simon Says” to practise our direction and positional vocabulary.
This interactive lesson consists of:
– Understanding left and right
– Learning positional vocabulary (behind, underneath, in front of, above, inside, on top of) by identifying where an insect is in relation to another object
– Crossing the midline and following directional instructions
– Following insects with eye movements
– Using positional words given to make sentences about a picture
– Discussing a picture to make our own sentences with positional vocabulary
