Ghum-Ghum was excited to go for her first swim. She swished her tail and WHOOSH all the water rushed around her. She came up from the water and noticed that she was all alone. Her family had swum off without her. Ghum-Ghum asked all the different animals in the river for some information on where her family could be. Did she find them? Read the story to find out.
This lesson includes a discussion on the differences between the crocodile, alligator and gharial. It has ten comprehension questions about the story, a vocabulary game and a section to write sentences about a picture in the story.
