I Can Do Beginning Sounds Game 1

Identifying and understanding the initial sound of words is an important basic skill in learning to read.   This part of phonological awareness, involves the ability to pay attention to, identify and use sounds.   It may take some time for a child to learn the different sounds and to remember which sound corresponds with which letter.   So we have developed a series of games for children to acquire this skill in a fun and interactive way, all while learning their letter-sound correspondence and identifying the initial sound of words.
