Resource Description

This resources consists of 10 Monkey flashcards which can be used as a teacher tool, class game or consolidation. The ordinal numbers are included in both English and Afrikaans. Children can either hold monkey cards in front of the class and move into place according to the teachers instructions (listening skills) or they can be used by the teacher on the blackboard. This is a enjoyable game that the children partake in enthusiastically.

Ordinal numbers

Good, clear pictures - difference in colours of caps are very clear and students had fun identifying the caps. I would suggest to first read the book "Caps for sale" during story time to give your students a connection point (they love the story and the humour in it).
