Noun and Verb

This power point presentation is a short discussion of Noun and Verb with simple activities. Also an introduction of parts of speech. There are word discovery and vocabulary activities. Noun- It is a name of the person, place, things, event or idea.

Verb-is an action word. 

A noun is a word that names something: either a person, place, or thing. In a sentence, nouns can play the role of subject, direct object, indirect object, subject complement, object complement, appositive, or adjective.

Verbs are words that show an action (sing), occurrence (develop), or state of being (exist). Almost every sentence requires a verb. The basic form of a verb is known as its infinitive. The forms call, love, break, and go are all infinitives. Almost all verbs have two other important forms called participles.
