2 Board Games for the improvement of phonological awareness

Goal: Practice identifying the FISRT sound in a word

Included:
Game 1 (2 CVC pictures on 1 block) Colour and B&W
The child must say the 2 words in the block. He must then say if the beginning
sounds are the same or different.
Game 2 (1 CVC picture on a block) Colour and B&W
The child must say with which sound the word begin. This game can ALSO be used
to a) identify the LAST sound and b) sound the word out (e.g. cat= c—-a—t)

Die in the form of individual cards.

Use it for:
A home programme
Practice during therapy sessions
Intervention by teacher
