Sweet Jar Reward Chart

A sweet way to reward students.

Each learner gets their own reward jar (I have a reward jar for the whole class in my classroom as well). When they earn a reward, they colour in a piece of candy in their jar. When the jar is full they receive a reward; as you can see on my explanation page, the reward I use is that they get a day with no school uniform, but this can be edited to suit what you would like to give as a reward. As a class reward system, they get the same reward – I coloured the candies and laminated them to make them reusable; each time a learner gets a candy coloured in on their personal jar, the class jar gets a piece of candy stuck on (this means that the class jar fills up faster than the individual learner jars).

This works very well to motivate the learners.
