English HL Reading and Viewing Lesson

This PowerPoint presentation includes an introductory activity, teaching and learning of the reading and viewing skills and activities and a closure activity for a teacher to use in a Reading and Viewing English lesson. It can be used for any intermediate phase grade but is mainly for Grade 5s. It makes use of the Grade 5 History theme- Ancient Egypt so that students develop knowledge on the History content while learning about English skills. It includes activities and concludes with an online quiz for the students to complete. The quiz can also be printed out and given to the students. Time Limits are present on the slides so that the lesson can be completed effectively.
